Fear, installed.

A fractional head of growth who owns the system and makes the calls, plus the harness that keeps working between visits. You get senior growth leadership without the search, the salary or the ramp.

Who owns what

Clear lines from day one.

I own

  • The growth thesis and the ranked backlog
  • Pipeline definitions, with your CRO
  • The harness: design, build and upkeep
  • The weekly metrics review and the calls that come out of it

Your team owns

  • Day-to-day execution and channels
  • The tools and accounts
  • Sign-off on anything that ships
  • Final say on budget

What gets built

The harness, in 90 days.

The harness is everything around the AI your team already uses: what it knows about your business, the rules it follows, the workflows it runs and the checks it has to pass. It's how my judgment keeps working on the days I'm not in the room.

  1. 01Context

Your ICP, positioning, voice, proof and competitors in one source of truth. Every workflow reads it.

    Days 1–30
  2. 02Rules

What good looks like: messaging guardrails, decision criteria, channel playbooks.

    Days 1–30
  3. 03Workflows

Content, AI-search visibility, lifecycle and ops, built in the tools you already pay for.

    Days 31–60
  4. 04Checks

Review rubrics and human sign-off before anything ships.

    Days 31–60
  5. 05Rhythm

Weekly metrics, a decisions log and a ranked backlog. The harness gets sharper every week.

Only after a Fear Audit. The audit is how we both find out what's actually broken before you commit to a monthly engagement.

Questions

Before you commit.

Why not just hire a VP of Marketing?
You might, eventually. A senior search takes months, and a new hire needs time to ramp. I start with a 2–3 week audit and ship working systems in the first month. If you hire a full-time leader later, they inherit a system that already runs instead of a blank page.
Do you work with sales, or just marketing?
Both. Pipeline is a shared number. I work with your CRO or sales leader on definitions, handoffs and what counts as a qualified opportunity, so marketing and sales stop arguing about lead quality.
What happens when the engagement ends?
You keep everything: the harness, the workflows, the playbooks and the metrics. It's documented, it lives in your tools, and your team knows how to run it.
Will you run paid media and content production?
I set the priorities, direct the work and build the workflows. I don't manage ad accounts day to day or run a production team.
Is this a CMO role or a growth role?
Growth. I own pipeline and conversion. Your positioning and voice become the core of the harness, so everything it produces sounds like you, but I'm not a brand agency.

Tell me what you're avoiding.

30 minutes with me, not a sales rep. You'll leave knowing whether your problem is strategy, systems or capacity, even if we never work together.
